Seth Mulder & Midnight Run EPK
Hailing from the Gateway of the Great Smoky Mountains, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run began its journey in February of 2015 at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This group of friends and musicians created a band tied to bluegrass music's rich traditions, offering a fresh approach to that "High Lonesome" sound. With each member drawing from various influences, including bluegrass, country, and rock, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run's sound was born.
With over 225 dates a year, their high-energy style of bluegrass has taken them all over the world. From Danny Stewart's Alaskan Bluegrass Cruise, Bluegrass On The Beach Lake Havasu, AZ, The Station Inn in Nashville, TN, and two tours in Ireland, England, and Scotland, to name a few. When not on the road, you can find them at the Gateway of the Great Smoky Mountains, where they have become a popular staple as a house band at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Seth Mulder & Midnight Run has completed three albums to date on their label. Two live projects recorded at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Holler in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and a full-length studio album, "Traveling Kind," released in February of 2021. In March 2021, they signed with Mountain Fever Records out of Willis, Virginia, and released their first single, "One More Night."

“This is a group that really cares about the music and about one another, They are infinitely entertaining when they perform. The vocals and musicianship are top notch, of course, but it’s that visible camaraderie that absolutely makes fans fall in love with Seth Mulder & Midnight Run. ”
— Jerry Salley: Billy Blue Records Creative and A&R Director
“We like entertainment and good music. Not often do you get to see and hear both. Seth Mulder & Midnight Run are one of the few bands we know that can play good music….. and entertain you. ”
— Little Roy Lewis and Lizzy Long
Here is what the critics have to say:
“As a bluegrass promoter, fan and musician for 40yrs I never get fooled by the tricks or “fluff” that so many bands add to their shows. I am always looking for the “Underdog” band. A band that does not have their hands tied by the big record companies or agents yet. Seth Mulder & Midnight Run are that band. These guys are bona fide in traditional bluegrass the right way. If I could buy stock in a bluegrass band, I’d buy as many shares as I could afford. These guys are 100 percenters. They get it! They bring a sweet spirit to my bluegrass cruises. I will continue to hire them for my land festivals and cruises. I’ve been telling my promoter friends to invest in them also. If you hire them for your event, you will know what I’m talking about.”
— Danny Stewart: Danny Stewart Productions
“"Seth Mulder & Midnight Run are one of the most entertaining bluegrass acts on the scene today. We're huge fans of these guys, and if you had but a single bluegrass-lovin’ bone in your whole body then you’d understand why. We hadn’t planned on seeing three shows of their exhaustive early 2020 Ireland & UK tour, but we did. We kept going back for more."”
